Ever since Kanye West came out with the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 back in 2016, fans have been anticipating the release of the V3. There have been a ton of teasers and rumors over the past few months but finally, it appears as though we finally have a solid look at what the shoe will look like. Thanks to this latest Instagram post from @yeezymafia, we have a fresh idea of what the silhouette will be like and how the upper will be constructed overall.
Instead of a low top, this shoe appears to be more of a mid-cut with a stretchy elastic cuff for maximum comfort. The primeknit upper has a pattern we haven't yet seen before from a Yeezy but when you consider how the name of this colorway is "Alien," it starts to make sense. As you would come to expect, there is Boost inside of the midsole so you know these will be incredibly comfortable.
So far, release details on these are pretty scarce but it seems like they will cost $230 USD which is only $10 more than the V2.

Kanye West talks a lot. His mind seemingly moves a mile a minute and words comes out of his mouth at rapid-fire speed. It's hard to keep up with and keep track of. In 2013, Adidas poached West from Nike and, in 2015, he signed what the athletic brand called "the most partnership between a non-athlete and a sports brand." At the time, West said the move allowed him more freedom creatively. “This partnership illustrates that anyone with a dream can dream without limitations,” the artist said in a press release.
Another thing Mr. West said? That one day, thanks to this partnership, he would be able to make Yeezy sneakers available to the masses. He first said this during a phone call with "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" in 2015, when he waxed poetic about his upcoming New York Fashion Week collection, his evolution as a designer, and what he had in store for his deal with Adidas. He also expressed concern over the violence that was happening when people were trying to buy his sneakers.
"I want to apologize to all the kids and all the parents that can't get the shoes currently because there's only 9,000," West said during an interview with the radio station. "And also, 'cause they're $350 and if they're out of anyone's price range...I just wanna make sure that we keep it safe. I've heard about people getting hurt for sneakers in the past, and I just want everyone to be safe and be patient — just be patient."
And with that, West let the world in on a little secret. "Just be patient because we'll make more Yeezys. Eventually, everybody who wants to get Yeezys will get Yeezys," he said. "Adidas has promised me that, because there's so many kids that have wanted them that couldn't get them. Apple's "Screen Time" monitors how much you use specific apps and your phone in general. It also lets you set limits, so you can curb your Instagram use or resist the urge to use your phone after bedtime or right when you wake up.
It's a much-needed update for a lot of iPhone users and especially anticipated by some parents desperate to set limits on their children's phone or iPad usage. Most experts agree that the most important way to limit screens with kids is to talk to them, not rely on stuff like this, but let's be honest: This is a huge win for parents.
Of course, kids are tiny evil tech geniuses, so within days of Screen Time launching in September, some smart cookies figured out how to "hack" it by deleting and reinstalling apps, which removed the time limits. Screen Time may not be completely watertight, but it's a good starting point and some teens will even welcome it: 54% of 13- to 17-year-olds believe they spend "too much time" on their phones.
First of all, you need an iPhone or iPad, and you're going to need to update to iOS12. Go do that!
There are two ways to set up Screen Time for your kids: remotely on your device or locally on theirs.
Let's talk about how to do it remotely on your phone first, which gives you a little more control and is the method we'd recommend.
In Settings, tap on your name and icon at the very top; that takes you to your iCloud and Apple ID menu. From there, go into "Family Sharing." You can either manage a child account you have already added or add a new Family Member.
If the child has an Apple ID, invite them to join Family Sharing via iMessage. They just have to click on the link from the iMessage to join. Unfortunately, parents can't do this on the sly.
For this step, you have to, you know, talk to your kids and get them to agree and understand that you'll be able to control aspects of their phone. I can't help you with that part — that's on you as their guardian! GOOD LUCK!

With millions of different phone applications available to download, it can feel impossible to know how safe each app on your child’s device is.
But there are a few applications that Knoxville police Lt. Warren Hamlin says are causing the most problems.
“The most things we see are dealing with Facebook, Kik and Snapchat,” said Hamlin, part of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit within the Knoxville Police Department. “These are the three apps we get the most tips about that are involved with adults trying to come into contact with children.”The ICAC Unit receives about 300-400 tips regarding children's internet safety every month, according to Hamlin.
“The biggest issue is that when kids are using these apps, they tend to trust anybody, and they don’t always know who they are talking to,” said Hamlin. “It’s fairly easy for criminals to create a fake profile and act like they are another kid or a friend.”
Criminals often then begin asking for nude and risque photos, and things go downhill from there. If sent, criminals often use these photos to “sexploit” children, a form of blackmail in which sexual information or images are used to extort sexual favors from the victim.
“Most children are afraid they are going to get in trouble and are hesitant to tell a parent, teacher or authority figure,” said Hamlin. “Eventually, kids will usually tell someone, but sometimes it can be far down the line.”
Facebook, Kik and Snapchat, as well as other apps like Mappen, use your phone’s location both while you are using the app and also in the background, and can share it with other users.
Location services can be great for parents who want to know where their child is. It also helps law enforcement find missing children and teens. A followup to last month’s reporting that included all of the Adidas Yeezy sneakers rumored to release this month, fans will now have a closer look at the two new Yeezy Boost 350 V2 styles expected to release in September.
First up on the list will be the “Cloud White” colorway releasing on Sept. 21. The shoe features a white Primeknit upper that’s contrasted by a yellow-tinted translucent stripe across the lateral side. Completing the look is the brand’s plush Boost cushioning tech in the midsole along with a rubber outsole.
For the “Citrin” iteration, the breathable Primeknit material used on the upper is executed in a light beige tone while a green translucent stripe on the side adds contrast, which sits atop a beige Boost midsole and a gum bottom outsole. The pairs will retail for $220 each.
