While 2019 has already seen the release of a handful of Yeezy sneakers in new colorways, it appears the DSRT BT—previously a non-adidas affiliated Yeezy item—has been prepped for a relaunch as part of adidas’s co-branded YZY with two new colorways.
While the boot will now be manufactured in adidas’ factories, the differences between the two are minimal. The new boot features adidas branding on the outsole (which, in earlier iterations, featured the season number) as well as adidas Yeezy co-branding on the insole. Otherwise, the new, collaboration iterations are nearly identical. If anything, these boots are perhaps best seen as hightop versions of the Yeezy 500 silhouette—tweaked slightly with a hiking boot-inspired sole. The boot features nubuck, suede and mesh on the upper as well as a reflective pull tab and rubber outsole. Though it is unclear whether or not the change will result in an increase in quantity or a decrease in quality, fans will be happy to hear that the adidas version of the “DSRT BT” will retail for $200, almost $100 less than the original.

Your smartphone probably knows more about you than you do.It knows where you are at all times. It knows every person you talk to, and what you've said to them. It has your family photos, your pet's pictures, your passwords and more. For attackers, it's a digital passport to access everything they would need to know about a person.
And that's why attacks on smartphones are on the rise, security researchers said.
At the Kaspersky Security Analyst Summit in Mexico, Andrew Blaich, a researcher from mobile security company Lookout, and Eva Galperin, the cybersecurity director from the Electronic Frontier Foundation, presented their findings about Dark Caracal, a global malware campaign targeting mobile devices that's infected thousands of people in more than 20 countries.
The attack campaign, tracked to a building in Beirut belonging to the Lebanese General Security Directorate, used nearly identical versions of real apps and tricked thousands of people to install it. Once it was on their phones, the attackers had access to everything.
The attack was massive, but it's just a preview of what's to come, the researchers said. It's a reversal of conventional wisdom that pointed to PCs as the most prone to hacks. Attacks on mobile devices are getting easier, they yield a bigger reward and people are using smartphones much more than they use their computers. It's a no-brainer for a hacker.

Firesheep offers these wannabe hackers instant access to people's account information when on a public Wi-Fi connection. Newstweek gives web pranksters the ability to alter online news articles and images that web surfers on the same network are viewing. FaceNiff lets Android owners hijack unencrypted login credentials from users on the same Wi-Fi network. And now there's Anti, or the Android Network ToolKit, which lets anyone with an Android device pwn people, networks and machines—just like penetration testers do.
At Defcon, Itzhak "Zuk" Avraham from Zimperium revealed his new Android-based hacking tool, which will hit the Android Market next week for the fair price of nothing.
Anti is basically a Wi-Fi sniffing tool that finds open networks and shows all of the target devices on them. It also offers traceroute software which can easily reveal IP addresses of any faraway servers. After you identify your target, Anti provides you with a simple command menu that lets you eavesdrop on local devices with a man-in-the-middle attack. It even lets you hijack local machines to take screengrabs, eject discs or open the calculator application.
So, now anybody with an Android device can hack. You'll even be able to sniff out SSH passwords in jailbroken iPhones. Using a noninvasive brain-computer interface (BCI), researchers have developed the first-ever successful mind-controlled robotic arm exhibiting the ability to continuously track and follow a computer cursor.crp robot
Being able to noninvasively control robotic devices using only thoughts will have broad applications, in particular benefiting the lives of paralyzed patients and those with movement disorders.
BCIs have been shown to achieve good performance for controlling robotic devices using only the signals sensed from brain implants. When robotic devices can be controlled with high precision, they can be used to complete a variety of daily tasks. Until now, however, BCIs successful in continuously controlling robotic arms have used invasive brain implants. These implants require a substantial amount of medical and surgical expertise to correctly install and operate, not to mention cost and potential risks to subjects. As such, their use has been limited to just a few clinical cases.
A grand challenge in BCI research is to develop less invasive or even totally noninvasive technology that would allow paralyzed patients to control their environment or robotic limbs using their own “thoughts.” Such noninvasive BCI technology, if successful, would bring such much-needed technology to numerous patients and even potentially to the general population.
However, BCIs that use noninvasive external sensing, rather than brain implants, receive “dirtier” signals, leading to lower resolution and less precise control. Thus, when using only the brain to control a robotic arm, a noninvasive BCI doesn’t stand up to using implanted devices. Despite this, BCI researchers have forged ahead, their eye on the prize of a less- or non-invasive technology that could help patients everywhere on a daily basis.

Researchers have created a mind-controlled robotic arm they believe will help millions of paralyzed patients or those with a neurodegenerative disease. According to a news release, the noninvasive approach uses electroencephalography (EEG) based brain-computer interface to record electrical activity of the patient’s brain through a specialized cap. The EEG cap is fitted with electrodes and converts the activity into action using signal processing and machine learning.
“This is the first time in the world that people can operate a robotic arm to reach and grasp objects in a complex 3-D environment using only their thoughts without a brain implant,” Bin He, a University of Minnesota biomedical engineering professor and lead researcher on the study, said in the release. “Just by imagining moving their arms, they were able to move the robotic arm.”
While researchers used eight healthy patients to help develop the device, subjects gradually learned to imagine moving their own arms without actually moving them, which led to the control of a robotic arm in 3-D space. According to the news release, the subjects began by controlling a virtual cursor on a computer screen before moving on to the robotic arm. They eventually progressed to controlling the robotic arm to reach and grasp objects on a table and move them from the table to a shelf.
This is exciting, as all subjects accomplished the tasks using a completely noninvasive technique,” He said in the release. “We see a big potential for this research to help people who are paralyzed or have neurodegenerative diseases to become more independent without a need for surgical implants.”crp robot

What’s the dosage? One pump delivers 5.5 mg of testosterone so the recommended dose is 11 mg (two pumps, one in each nostril), three times a day.
Should you try Natesto now? Most physicians think until further data are available, that using the older tried and true methods are still the way to go. A worrisome point is that data in mice show brain levels of testosterone that are twice as high with the nasal gel as with intravenous testosterone. We don’t know if this occurs in men treated with the nasal gel, but maybe stick to the available testosterone gels, patch, or injections.

Some aging men might have perked up at the news that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved an oral testosterone treatment for hypogonadism, or low gonadal testosterone production. After all, with advertisements bombarding them with claims that attribute all of their ills to “low T” and urge them to “ask their doctor” about it, aging men might think it’s high time for a pill to pop instead of dealing with a messy gel.Testosterone decanoate Uses
Unfortunately for them, the agency says that the newly approved drug, Jatenzo (testosterone undecanoate; Clarus Therapeutics) isn’t for age-related testosterone declines. Instead, it’s intended to treat people who have hypogonadism because of less common causes, such as tumors of the pituitary gland or Klinefelter’s syndrome. This form of testosterone was previously approved as an injectable, Aveed (Pfizer).
The pituitary gland sends messages to the gonads that regulate release of hormones, and tumors can turn the volume on these messages inappropriately up or down . Klinefelter’s syndrome is the name given to the suite of traits that result when someone carries a Y chromosome along with two X chromosomes. One of the features of Klinefelter’s can be smaller-than-average testes that produce low levels of testosterone. Having this condition is associated with increased risks for obesity, insulin resistance and mortality, which is related to why the FDA views the benefits of Jatenzo as outweighing risks for this population.
The drawback of Jatenzo, the FDA said in a statement, is that as with all testosterone treatments, risks increase for higher blood pressure, which in turn is a risk for cardiovascular disease and death. For people who have pituitary tumors or Klinefelter’s syndrome, it’s possible that the benefits of the drug outweigh these risks. For older men experiencing typical effects of aging, however, it is not, the FDA concluded. About a third of men in older age might have hypogonadism.
The cardiovascular risk is sufficient that the drug label will carry a boxed warning, as does Aveed, which is available only through the FDA’s tightly controlled risk evaluation and mitigation strategy. The agency urges that clinicians keep each individual patient’s cardiovascular risk in mind and ensure that their blood pressure controlled when on the drug. People with the conditions that are considered indications for taking Jatenzo often are already using some other form of testosterone (injection or skin patch), so their risk may not vary with a switch to an oral pill. Almost 9 out of 10 of the 166 participants in the 4-month trial of Jatenzo saw their testosterone levels rise to normal range while taking the drug.

Additionally, Airbnb does not allow hosts to place cameras in bathrooms or sleeping areas, even if that’s a living room with a foldout bed.
But, as this one family found out, the occasional creepy host can still hide a camera and not tell you. Hidden cameras in an Airbnb aren’t a new thing. The problem isn’t limited to Airbnb, either. A recent news story described the harrowing tale of hidden cameras live-streaming in South Korean hotels. More than 1500 hotel guests were filmed and live-streamed over the internet. As hidden cameras become even more inexpensive, they seem to be popping up more and more.
Manufacturers design cameras disguised as other everyday objects, like smoke detectors, clocks, USB hubs, even wireless chargers. These can be used for legitimate reasons in your own home—for example, to hide a camera a burglar can’t find or to monitor a nanny with that person’s consent. But how do you ensure someone isn’t targeting you with a hidden camera? With a single app and your phone’s camera, you can do a sweep for hidden cameras when you check in.

As a journalist, I record phone calls all the time in order to accurately quote the people I’m interviewing. I’ve tried all sorts of different methods for recording calls over the years, and there are some good options that will work with your Android phone.
You don’t have to be a writer to have a need for call recording. You may want to keep a record of an interaction for a customer-service call or keep track of key information when you can't write it down.
Laws vary by state on the legality of recording phone conversations. Some states require you to have the other party’s consent, which means you need to inform the other person that you are recording. Check your local laws to find out what applies. Generally, it’s just a good and polite idea to ask permission.
Android 9 Pie doesn't play nice with call recording apps
There can be a lot of differences between versions of the Android operating system. Android 9 Pie arrived in 2018, but it’s only compatible with certain phones, mostly newer and high-end devices.

Between a new gesture navigation UI, RAM-heavy game protection, Slices and App Actions APIs, Google has put a lot of work into the latest version of their mobile operating system. This isn’t the first time Google has challenged call recording. In fact, the company has done it for a while. Back with the release of Android Marshmallow, Google killed off the official call-recording API, leaving developers to create their own way of doing so. That was fine as these solutions worked just as well, or even better than, the official API. The developers of both CallRecorder – ACR and BoldBeast Android Call Recorder have confirmed that Google has closed off the workaround they used to record calls, leaving root-only methods the only way to record your phone calls.
While the legality of call recording differs from country to country, it’s strange that Google would take steps to entirely block it. Some countries only require single-party consent, and even with two-party consent, there are many reasons that a phone call may be recorded. The addition of a beeping tone was seen to be an acceptance that call recording would take place, however, Google is still cracking down on it entirely. It may be possible that a non-root method is discovered in the future, don’t get your hopes up. For now, you’ll be forced to use root-enabled applications to record any of your phone calls. It’s possible that maybe this change is not intended, but regardless it will be a hindrance to a lot of people. After mock-ups of the brand-new adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Magnet” recently appeared, we now have a full look at the newest model in the ever-popular adidas Yeezy line, and it presents an appealing amalgamation of styles both familiar and fresh. The main difference from previous Yeezy 700 releases is the upper’s base material. Gone is the normal athletic mesh, and arriving in its place is a tightly woven synthetic fabric. A standard combo of supple suede and luxurious leathers arrive on the overlays, and pops of high-vis reflective material are present towards the heel on both the lateral and medial sides as well. If you’ve been dealing with similar breakouts and you think your jewelry could be the cause, read on to learn how to protect your skin from a nickel-induced rash.Nickel is one of the most common causes of allergic contact dermatitis, a skin reaction caused by exposure to a specific allergen. It can look like a red, itchy rash, dry patches of skin that look like a burn, or blisters and other bumps. Since nickel can be found in clothing, electronics, certain makeup, jewelry, and even foods, you may notice a reaction in many different areas on your body—like itchy ears after wearing earrings, a hand rash from handling keys, or a belly-button irritation from a button on your pants. If you’re not sure what’s causing your symptoms, see a dermatologist or allergist to get an official diagnosis.
If you are diagnosed with a nickel allergy, it’s important to avoid the metal as much as possible—which is easier said than done, since, as we mentioned above, it shows up in lots of products and it’s hard to always know if something contains nickel.
