What was once the Three Stripe’s poster child when it came to modern lifestyle footwear is now all but forgotten ever since more technologically advanced adidas sneakers began to release. Can adding Primeknit on the upper of the ZX Flux help bring the shoe back to relevancy? I don’t know, but adidas is going to at least try.The latest colorway has the adidas Originals ZX Flux Primeknit done in a Black woven upper accented by the Light Grey hits placed on the 3M Three Stripes, tongue and ankle collar. Suede is found on the heel cage and a bit of Tan can be seen on the heel pull tab.


The adidas cloudfoam flyer comes in a solid grey suede upper that takes care of the majority of the upper. The only part of the upper that doesn’t come in a grey hue happens to be the leather heel and Three Stripes branding on the side panels of the shoes. Minimal gold accents are found by way of the branding on the tongue and side panels, while the all-white sole unit help balance out the aesthetic of the shoes. Nothing much else to say about this Superstar Suede, it’s just a solid offering that gets the job done.


The adidas springblade pro has been winterized with a bit more character courtesy of a wooly textile used along its upper to great affect. The woven pattern is contrasted by bits of black leather on the heel tab, tongue and the trademark three stripes. The White shell toe peaks out attaching itself to a similar colored outsole.Sometimes the most subtle sneakers also happen to be the cleanest ones. Take for example this colorway of the adidas Originals Superstar Suede.
