adidas nmd r1 grey pink is one of those rare imprints that has the ability to collaborate with both Nike and adidas. After the outerwear specialists linked up with the Nike Sock Dart to introduce weather resistance and an extended mid-top upper, it looks like they’re switching brand affiliation for an upcoming Stone Island adidas NMD. According to prolific Instagrammer Wopsole, the early preview features a nubuck and leather combination with embossed trefoil branding on the tongue with Stone Island’s signature logo in an all-over print. The outsole arrives in classic gum while the midsole bumper hints at an adidas NMD R2 being the collaborative model of choice. Stay tuned for more updates as preview images continue to come in.
The adidas nmd r2 black is releasing in a new colorway of black/gum that is set to drop this Fall. The shoe features black mesh for its upper with matching tonal branding, while khaki colored pull tabs, EVA inserts on the inner medial section of its white Boost midsole and gum rubber outsole completes the look altogether.

Back in 1865, the house was commissioned to create a tailless evening jacket in "celestial blue" by the future Edward VII, for him to wear informally at the then-Prince of Wales' Sandringham pad, his country estate. The rest, as they say, his history – but Poole has never been one to rest on its laurels. This week, the house is breaking all the rules again by teaming up with Adidas Originals on quite possibly the smartest trainers you could ever hope to buy.
Inspired by the tailor's storied suiting, there will be two limited-edition remixes of the Eighties revivial adidas nmd r2 womens silhouette in the collaboration – both made from custom crafted fabrics. Launching first on 21 July, the NMD XR1 evening shoe takes its cues from the aforementioned dinner suit in midnight blue, black and white with grosgrain silk detailing on the medial cage.
The second style, the adidas nmd r2 mens (a day shoe), will launch on 4 August and pays homage to the house's famous flannel day suits. The upper is cut from chalk-stripe fabric with claret accents, a trademark Cundey Weave red lining (a feature usually found in its ties and suit linings) and the exclusive fabric's selvedge on the heel loop at the back.
