Starting with the quieter option, we see the upper finished in LIGHT SOLID GREY, which has a mix of light and dark grey threads woven together to create a somewhat speckled effect, giving some life to the very simple scheme. If that isn’t colourful enough for you, then maybe the NIGHT FLASH colourway will be more your thing, with a hot shade of purple dominating almost the entire shoe. Both pairs use white on the heel panel and rubber sole to add some contrast, whilst still keeping things looking clean. The Adidas Stan Smith Black is a genuine classic with a silhouette that’s about as simple as they come and the addition of PRIMEKNIT technology really works with the clean lines… We definitely approve!

While sneakers are Kasina’s bread and butter, here they have incorporated design elements from more formal shoes, combining them with the winning concept of an early performance shoe. The result is a fusion of two footwear-making heritages. Kasina has imagined a prototype for the Superstar, long before it became an iconic sneaker, and based its model on traditional shoemaking. Set in the mid-20th century, Kasina imagined this time as the birth hour of the Adidas Superstar Shoes Sale. Their special version is inspired by that period’s aesthetic and takes cues from classic saddle shoes. There’s vintage colour, high quality leather and narrow, understated stripes, but still the shape and the unmistakable shelltoe to emphasize the original design. There’s a hint of the Yeezy 350 in there too, with the black semi-circular panels on the medial side of the shoe.
