For some, a second chance at these may come soon enough; according to Yeezy/adidas fansite The Yeezy Mafia, the BAPE x adidas collection, including both colorways of the BAPE NMDs, will release on January 12th at adidas Originals flagship locations in-store, with each location arranging their own release protocols. After a very well-received Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Mens Cheap collaboration at the end of last year, it looks like Reigning Champ and adidas have another project up their sleeves for 2017. Yep, that’s correct, another Reigning Champ Ultra Boost is on the way, this time reversing their black or “Oreo” colorway into a white and light grey color combo across the 3.0 style Primeknit upper. Also varying from the first release, this upcoming RC Ultra Boost also features leather cages for an even more luxe appearance. No release date for the Reigning Champ Ultra Boost 3.0 in white has been announced yet, but expect them sometime in spring or early summer and stay tuned for all late-breaking news on the anticipated collab.

With the concept of performance sneakers re-imagined in monochrome luxury in mind, the duo of impressive looks for the Boost models feature matching white, grey, and black melange Primeknit weaves. The Ultra Boost—which may very well become one of the most sought after editions of the shoe ever—also features premium black leather detailing on the tongue and collar, as well as soft suede cages and a taped toe for extra durability. The Superstar Boost blends the vintage silhouette with today’s technological amenities from the Three Stripes including a Primeknit upper and Boost cushioning, also with taped and premium leather detailing.
