The classic nike air max 1 blue receives another versatile update this Fall 2016, as it’s treated in a classic two-tone combination of wolf grey and cool grey. Joining alongside the recently featured mahogany/night maroon finish is this metallic hematite version of the women’s Nike Air Max 1 Ultra for Fall 2016. Its original creator, Tinker Hatfield, did not design the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit. Instead, the brand went with designer Ben Yun for this release. This new Air Max 1 edition boasts the number "87" on its heel to pay tribute to the year when the Nike Air Max 1 was released, Sneaker Bar Detroit noted. The shoes was also reportedly inspired by the concept of the nike air max 1 ultra moire which had the number "89" on its heels. It is coming our way in three different colorways, but the brand must have decided that it still wasn’t enough to satisfy our need for Flyknit-lightness. A mere three days after this big reveal, Nike has one-upped itself with another Flyknit makeover of a classic sneaker: the Air Max 90.It’s got a flexible upper that doesn’t sacrifice any durability thanks to the mudguard that runs the length of the toe box, while the knit upper reduces weight as well. This time around, the model gets murdered out with a triple black colorway that is downright vicious.
Bold colorways are easy to pull off in the summertime, which makes this latest Nike drop one of the most sensible styles we’ve seen lately. It’s a pretty intense silhouette–to say the least–and will certainly break a few necks as you stroll down the streets. A cool grey-colored midsole unit and anthracite outsole further caps off the greyscale theme and makeup overall. The nike air max 1 ultra flyknit can be picked up via nike.com and SNKRS for $160. The shoe is available in both men’s and women’s sizes in multiple colorways, including its original white, red and gray colorway. As suggested, the sneaker’s revamped knitted and breathable profile is doused in the stealthy hue, as it’s continued throughout the synthetic overlays, laces, tongue, inner lining and full-length sole unit to essentially create a blacked-out profile. A Hyperfuse overlay has been added to the Swooshes and mudguard for an additional aesthetic touch. And the updated shoe comes in four colorways to boot: black, blue, orange and forest green.
The nike air max 1 ultra essential has become the peak of luxury and performance, which makes this Pinnacle style self explanatory. It’s an iteration of the model that aligns it with it’s truest self as a luxury footwear item with loads of style. The off-white leather areas on this sneakers (mudguard and Swoosh) are made of a color-changing material. When exposed to UV light, the off-white portions of the upper transform to blue. You can see in one of the images above that the toecap and part of the Swoosh are showing the color-changing abilities.
