Apart from Chicago's All-Star twosome, 2K seems overall dismissive of the talent present on the roster.
Despite the fact Michael Jordan graces the front cover, NBA 2K23 couldn't be more wrong about how talented the current Chicago Bulls are.2K has four current Bulls players ranked in the top 100 players in the sport. DeRozan and LaVine have the 19th and 23rd spots , respectively. Nikola Vucevic is ranked No. 59. Lonzo Ball comes as the No. 73. Somewhat surprisingly, Andre Drummond is rated as Chicago's fifth best player. He also just barely misses the cut.
The team's overall ratings are unremarkable. The Bulls backcourt take huge hits, as Alex Caruso, Coby White and Dosunmu are all downgraded by one point, even though common sense suggests they'll improve next season. Dosunmu's 76 overall rating is particularly shocking, given that he was recently named All-Rookie. Also, All-Rookie Second Team guard Josh Giddey posted roughly equal performance as Dosunmu (and was dominated by Ayo when it came to head-to-head games) as a player, but scored a significantly higher 82 overall rating.
Rookie Dalen Terry has also been given a ridiculous 71 overall rating, which puts him lower than the likes of former Bulls Matt Thomas, Denzel Valentine, Troy Brown Jr., along with Tomas Satoransky Buy NBA 2K Coins. Three of them aren't even included on an NBA roster while the fourth has an unofficial "prove the idea" contract. He'll join the other three If he doesn't improve to the occasion.
