Da Vinci DC100 Electric Motorcycle Can Follow You Like A Puppy

Anyone who has spent the day riding a motorcycle knows that there is often a time when you just have to get off the motorcycle and walk around. A Chinese company called Da Vinci Dynamics has unveiled a new electric motorcycle called the DC100. The motorcycle is a powerful electric road bike that promises a range of 250 miles per charge. To get more news about davinci, you can visit davincimotor.com official website.

Aside from performance and long range, one of the coolest aspects of the electric motorcycle is the ability to balance yourself and follow the rider. That said, if you go for a bit of a walk after a long ride, your motorcycle can run after you like an obedient dog. Da Vinci claims the motorcycle has 135 horsepower and has a control system that integrates multiple engines.

A little confusion arises because the company released another press release claiming the bike had 137 horsepower and a hub motor. While there is confusion, there is evidence that the motorcycle has between 135 and 137 horsepower and could possibly have two engines. Dual engines would mean all-wheel drive for the motorcycle.

The maximum torque is 627 pound-feet, according to the press release. That’s gigantic torque for a motorcycle and practically guarantees that the bike will become a wheelie machine. In fact, it would be pretty difficult for most people to get that much torque. The DC100 should reach 100 km / h in the range of 3 to 4 seconds.

That value proposition is pretty weird, because so much horsepower and torque in something this light should probably mean much better performance. The performance secret could be traced back to difficulty in keeping the front wheel down while accelerating, which wastes much of the power. It’s worth noting that the claimed 250 mile drive takes a bit of salt.
The motorcycle’s battery is a 17.7 kWh unit. By comparison, the Zero SR has a power tank with an 18 kWh battery that is enough for just 223 miles in the city or 180 miles on the highway. The DC100 is available for pre-order for $ 27,500.
