The Nike Cortez Discount is a favorite of Lamar's, who has rapped about the model, and an important shoe in his native California.Joining models like the Air Jordan 1 and Air Max 1 in Nike's "Los Primeros" Collection for Hispanic Heritage Month is the Cortez, which is running with new energy following the addition of Kendrick Lamar as brand ambassador.
The Nike Cortez for Sale made its debut in 1972 and was one of the first running sneakers released by Nike. Designed by Bill Bowerman, they featured a clean upper with a full length EVA foam midsole and a rubber outsole molded in a herringbone pattern. They regained popularity when they were worn on screen by Tom Hanks in the film, Forrest Gump. The Cortez has been retroed numerous times in various styles, colorways and versions.

First up, the Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez DAMN you see above.The Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez DAMN is said to be just once of several pieces from an upcoming collection inspired by his latest album, DAMN. The Kendrick Lamar xNike Cortez Cheapest pictured comes dressed in a Red and Black color scheme constructed out of nylon and suede. Red takes care of the upper and sole unit, while the Black detailing can be found on the Nike Swoosh branding, stripe on the midsole and heel. Standout features on the shoe include references to Lamar’s DAMN album on the tongues, as well as his initials on the left and right heel and “TDE” on the dubraes as a nod to his label. The Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez DAMN does not have a release date yet, but we’re pretty sure one will be announced sooner rather than later? First thoughts?
